Learn one of the earliest photographic processes called the cyanotype. Cyan = blue and type = print - a blueprint! Also known as sun printing, this class will introduce you to the basics of this historic process on paper. In the 3-hour class you will learn a brief history of the process, why plants are so often used in the creation of the cyanotype, how to expose, develop and dry your prints as well as how best to frame and store them. Everyone will have the chance to create 5-10 original cyanotypes. All materials are included. Materials fee of $40.

Campers will explore the ecosystem around them, learning about the animals and plants that thrive in these habitats, while creating their own artwork based on their discoveries.
